Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year in PCU License: MO or compact license required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required; BSN preferred Must-Have: - EKG interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Ventilator management, IV starts - Telemetry experience - Experience with long-term ventilation, weaning, and tracheostomy care Description: The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a step-down unit. Must be able to manage vents and IVs effectively. Strong telemetry skills are essential. Experience with long-term vent management and pulmonary rehabilitation is required. Tracheostomy management experience is necessary. Phlebotomy skills are preferred. The nurse will need to pass the EKG exam. Floating within the service line may be required. All nurses must work every other weekend. Candidates must adhere to all specific skill and experience requirements noted. Compliance with all policies regarding time off and submission timelines is imperative. This position involves a mix of independent nursing tasks and interdisciplinary collaboration. Travelers are encouraged to fulfill their commitment to the full duration of the assignment. No local candidates will be considered.
